Hi, I'm Matías Martínez Boylston.
I’m a strategic UX leader — part design sage, part educator, part digital alchemist — turning chaos into clarity across insurance, banking, and education. I bring structure to ambiguity, guide teams with empathy, and teach tomorrow’s designers to think deeply and design wisely. I balance real-world impact with classroom insight, seamlessly switching from information architecture to AI-powered design. I lead with questions, not assumptions. And whether I’m redesigning a sales process or reimagining a classroom activity, I do it with heart, humor, and a laser focus on what matters most: people.
My fascination with technology and human-computer interaction sparked at an early age, steering the direction of my professional journey. This early passion led me to study design, with a particular focus on interaction design, where I began shaping my future in this thrilling field.

I kicked off my professional career as an "Art Director" at an agency in New York City during the dot-com boom, working for Fortune 500 companies. This formative experience immersed me in the epicenter of web innovation and development. As years passed, technologies advanced, design evolved, and so did my roles and responsibilities.

I've always strived to be a self-learner, constantly adapting to the shifts in our trade. In 2016, I transitioned fully from being an individual contributor to taking on leadership positions in design. This shift involved defining strategies and plans, learning to manage teams of designers, and increasingly working with higher-level professionals within organizations.

Today, I'm dedicated to leading and developing teams focused on creating digital products that make a difference, applying all the experience I've gathered. My goal remains to drive collective growth and ensure shared success, always placing customers and people at the heart of every project.
